Nabinut Posted October 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2010 Today was the 31st annual MTA roadeo. Last year budget problems forced the event to be cancelled but it came back better then ever. Nabinut Posted October 11, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted October 11, 2010 What is that gray device above the driver seat? That is the Radio/GPS unit. SEPTA which was also there uses the same device except to set their destination signs and voice announcements.
East New York Posted October 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted October 11, 2010 That is the Radio/GPS unit. SEPTA which was also there uses the same device except to set their destination signs and voice announcements. I love the smart Radio/GPS/Destination units, where all the driver has to do is set it when they pull out, or begin their run, and the destination sign automatically changes when the driver reaches the end of the line. They system even know when to automatically change to Not In Service when it's time to deadhead.
