Do you get sick often?

The last time I was properly sick (missed school, OD bed rest, hot shrimp/chicken ramen on the stove at all times), it was January of 2009. I was working on something for my senior research paper and I just felt like utter shit. My mom came to me at 2:00 AM and told me that I didn't look too good. When I did fall asleep and wake up, I took my temperature... 100.9 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have an extremely strong immune system - the only things I'd otherwise suffer from are stomach viruses or stomach flu (not saying any affliction with "stomach" in it is more fun to have), or the cold! And before 2009, the last time I was sick was sometime in 2005-06...

I don't always get sick with a cold per se but I've been getting migraines for the past few years. Your vision blurs out, you feel lightheaded and one time it was so bad i hurled. On a different occasion, i had two in one day. It's the worst thing ever. When one gets migraines it's a sign of dehydration. You'd think water would help but not necessarily; Gatorade does the trick as it restores electrolytes. I took a sip of gatorade and some motrin and within seconds i was feeling so much better. I still felt fatigued so I took a nap for an hour and afterwards I was back to my good old self again.

I used to be the model of health, but stress took a toll on me. Until recently, I had migraines every day. Thanks to Zucol, I'm able to avoid colds. Certain foods (oranges, KFC's macaroni, potatoes, whole milk, beans) send me to the bathroom. If you want to stay healthy, wash your hands, avoid people who cough, and don't eat anything at Taco Bell.

for years Ive groaned and squeaked like an old SMEE car when I get up or do anything, thanks to being out of shape for years.

I have problems in my ankles and I have very weak sinuses that get blocked up very easily and take a while to clear out, I often have to take strong claritin to clear em.

I have weird sinuses, but other than sinus related stuff, i'm rarely sick. If i am usually it's due to too much junky food when i'm out and not enough sleep.

Riding PATH is horrible for my sinuses with the pressure changes and drafts and moldy damp stations and brake dust, then theres all the perfumes and stuff from the pax. Ugh.

I sneeze a few times every now and then, but it's mostly cuz of allergies or maybe if I get a bit chilly. Haven't been sick for a while now. Allergies are my main causes like irritation of the skin or such.

If I get less than 8hrs of sleep and wake up suddenly and am standing up, I do get a migrane attack and start to feel light headed. I have to lie back down and usually 5min later I'm ok.

My boss's boss (who is a doctor) said something about the Hygiene Theory where early childhood-exposure to mildly dirty things helps them build up a strong defense and minimize or eliminate reactions to allergens. As a kid, I remember doing plenty of dirty things… I even ate the foods I were allergic to, ignoring the side effects. I get sick rarely nowadays and I have no allergic reactions to anything, so I find it hard to understand how others are so fragile to something as simple as a grain of pollen.
