R42MK trains signed on the (A)

I see that they started delivering these cars to Pitkin. I saw a R42 when I was on the train this afternoon. i heard the first train will be from far rockaway on monday. i don't know what time or if it will happen.

i heard that they are moving the phase i r32s to jamaica this week because there was a lot of r42 cars at pitkin/207. i wander if they already started reefing the phase ii r32s.

Last I heard/seen the Phase II's were getting stripped, but not in the water yet...5 pairs of R32's were up there, all Phase II...

Go across the Willy B, use the Chrystie Street cut, change ends on 6th Ave (north of West 4th Street perhaps)..

 

Go South on B1 Track trough West 4th Street, then go upstiars on A1 track(where the old Express used to go) and then stay on 8th Ave...

The R42s are soppsed to be on the any day now. To replace the R32s that will go to jamaica yard. And the R40Ms will be over there once more of those japanese R160s come into service. And more R42s will jump ship as more french R160s come into service...

40Ms and 42s are cool I guess, but still I like the 32s and 38s better. Better seats and more reliable IMO. But I don't think I'm gonna like 40Ms, 42s, and 44s on the same line, since 32s and 38s provided some relief from 44s. 40Ms and 42s don't provide the same relief to me.

It was in service yesterday too so its offical R42s are on the . But on lefferts blvd line though not on the far rock one yet......

There are more R42's at 207 and Pitkin Yards. From a "RUMOR", about half of the R42's are going for the and will be in service by the end of May.

Not sure about the R38's, but the Phase I R32's that are displaced will be headed to Jamaica and replacing some of the Phase II R32's that will heading to the Ocean..at least from what I heard

There's a reverse siding at Jamaica Center that Leads up to the E line

I hate to see the R32s get reefed. But we can't holdon to them forever.....
