'89 Liberty MCI Posted April 14, 2008 Share #27 Posted April 14, 2008 They actually got R42s sitting in the back of Concourse yard (south of Bedford Park Blvd) which are not to be used for the ( or but I guess are being held to be sent to 207th (and Pitkin). Funny thing is, they have two sets next to each other: one set signed as a and the one on the parallel set of tracks signed as a . The set has "North Terminal" on top roll, "JFK Airport" on bottom roll, and the set I think is just blank on both rolls. That and are such a blast from the past. Those R42s at concourse yard are dead basically their just waiting their turn to go swiming...... Btw i wonder why those MTA workers in the yard set those rollsigns like that..... m106crosstown Posted May 12, 2008 Author Share #34 Posted May 12, 2008 As of May 11th: R42: 4550-4599 have been transferred to Pitkin Yards R32: 3356-57, 3360-61, 3370-71, 3376-77, 3380-81, 3394-95, 3396-3397, 3400-01, 3406-07, 3412-13, 3414-15, and 3416-17 4586-4597 will be transferred to Pitkin Yards in the upcoming week. 3428-29, 3434-35, 3438-39, 3440-41, 3442-43 and 3448-49 will be transferred when the R42 transfers.
