TwoTimer Posted October 31, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 31, 2010 As for the class, they unretired the series couple weeks back for car shortages on the C again. They had to modify my school car schedule as we were originally not going to be qualified on that equipment for revenue service.
SmallParkShuttle Posted October 31, 2010 Share #7 Posted October 31, 2010 Nice find! Why was the car in the air for so long? Must have been really windy, or maybe the crane operator was on lunch... I remember watching the 42s get loaded, it was about a five minute cycle from picking up one car to strapping up the next.

N-Trizzy2609 Posted November 1, 2010 Share #11 Posted November 1, 2010 (A)re there any older ret. trains hidden anywhere ..?? I know someone in Florida has R6 body on his property tho it's in horrible shape. Somehow someway a few R30s ended up in Lakehurst in 2008 but they were later sent to the scrap in Toms River. I think one of them was 8392 or 91 i don't remember.
