FamousNYLover Posted November 13, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 13, 2010 On 5th Av from Harlem area to NYPL at 42nd St M1 Bus Stop still reads: SOUTH FERRY/EAST VILLAGE. They need to cover up SOUTH FERRY Portion with WEEKDAYS ONLY. M8, M21 and M50 Bus Stops have WEEKDAYS ONLY missing, well as B24, Bx34, Bx55 bus stops near Bx12SBS. In Lower Manhattan, it still shows BxM4C Walll St which is discontinue Feb 2010. Some bus stops still shows X9 on 42nd St, discontinue X6 bus stop. In HTC, N17 bus sign still shows. Have anyone recognized any bus stops not fix yet?
MattTrain Posted November 13, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2010 I see the B4 bus going to Sheepshead Bay only Rush hours, other times to Ocean Parkway/Shore Parkway other times. That "other times destination" isn't labled in the bus stops eastbond on the B4 in Brooklyn.
Kingsbridge Bus Posted November 13, 2010 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2010 I still see Bx25 signs hanging around. I've also sen the Baretto Point Park shuttle sign up.
checkmatechamp13 Posted November 13, 2010 Share #4 Posted November 13, 2010 But isn't it pointless to put up a "Weekdays Only" or "Rush hours only" sign? All you have to do is look at the schedule to see that it doesn't run weekends/off-peak. For example, I don't see any "weekday only" signs on the S54, S55, S56, S66, and S76 bus stops. IRT Bronx Express Posted November 13, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 13, 2010 One bus stop near Jerome Avenue at Gun Hill Road (Bx10 bus stop heading to Norwood) had a yellow paper that listed bus service reductions for Express buses. I took a picture of it last Thursday.
Amtrak7 Posted November 14, 2010 Share #6 Posted November 14, 2010 Wow, I didn't think they printed a sheet for express buses. Most bus stops I see have updated signs, but out of date schedules/maps. Who's responsible for those? DOT or MTA? N94 still shows on the Jamaica Cutover Brochure on the Hicksville inset.

Amtrak7 Posted November 14, 2010 Share #10 Posted November 14, 2010 Hicksville station still has a sign refering to MSBA Are you talking about the map above the schedule rack? If so, that's no good since every time I've been there someone's been reading it. If not, where is it?
B35 via Church Posted November 15, 2010 Share #11 Posted November 15, 2010 I'm not the one that's at all surprised at this... I'm not gonna research my own posts as proof of having mentioned that they'd take a millenia to "correct" all the stops, forgot who it was that gave an actual date of when the DOT should be finished updating the signs or w/e.... I'm not the one to say... "I told ya so" ** disclaimer: this isn't directed at anyone; it's a general (albeit sarcastic) statement. **
Joel Up Front Posted November 15, 2010 Share #12 Posted November 15, 2010 New York City Bus schedules for routes that go to the 165th Street Terminal still show the N2 and N3 as routes you can transfer to. Foxie, get me a picture of that MSBA reference... there was one at Hewlett but that's been long gone now.
lilbluefoxie Posted November 17, 2010 Share #13 Posted November 17, 2010 Are you talking about the map above the schedule rack? If so, that's no good since every time I've been there someone's been reading it. If not, where is it? IF you are on platform A, the westbound one, its located by the far stairs after you walk over Newbridge Road. I can confirm its still there from about a few weeks ago.
