Pacific Street

Does anyone know the details to the work they're doing around the Pacific Street area that requires and to be local? Looked like they had rocks and everything there, so I was curious.

Yeah, I wondered about this as well; There was a lot of rock on the work trains.

This weekend they were working between Atlantic and DeKalb doing track chip-out, and because there are no switches south of Atlantic and Pacific until upon entering 36th Street in both directions the and had no choice but to operate local.

This weekend they were working between Atlantic and DeKalb doing track chip-out, and because there are no switches south of Atlantic and Pacific until upon entering 36th Street in both directions the and had no choice but to operate local.

Oddly enough, there appears to be space for a switch between the local and express tracks just north of Union Street. For a brief segment of the tunnel, there are no beams or obstacles separating the two trackways. The same occurs just south of the ramps connecting the West End line to the 4 Avenue line.
