All of the RTSs are painted in this scheme, but this is the only Flxible painted in this scheme.

Its one of those buses you see like once a month.

My lady lives across the water from EWR, so she often takes those busses, i'm sure she's seen it at least once.

Not doubting that at all...but with the route cuts in services, of 65 branded buses, I'm looking at the schedule and probably 35-36 buses are needed for peak service these days...not more than 40. Yet on Wednesday, 7 of the 8 Flxibles were on the road (the lone one I didn't see was 1757).

 

Back in 2005, the number needed for peak service was probably closer to 60, but since then, the 3, 5/6, 16, 99 (now the NJT #6), 122, and 144 have been discontinued (and before then, the 11 and 33).

 

BTW, paging Pablo...do you have any clue as to when the 33 and Coach USA #6 was discontinued?

Saw that bus on the 4 earlier that day you took those photos. Also saw it coming off the turnpike going into service on the 10 that day.
