N-Trizzy2609 11 Posted April 17, 2008 Share #5 Posted April 17, 2008 Wow thats fast. Thanks for the update but hows Alstom doing? Last I heard, Alstom is swamped so bad that they are two month behind with the R-160A-1's. Ill be a while before A-2's will be on the property. I think for every 4 sets of A-1's, 1 A-2 is delivered. It's kinda complicated. You think for all that money and time. But don't forget, the shells are being manufactured in Sao Palo.

The A-2 cars will start coming in once all of the A-1 cars are in. Btw those ten A-2 cars run on the . And once the other A-2 cars get here they will go to queens blvd for CBTC.... superdotny 0 Posted April 18, 2008 Share #18 Posted April 18, 2008 I hear by the end of May. Well, on Wednesday, I think there were problems coordinating trains on the Astoria terminal. They had to run a R160 to Whitehall. The conductor was really confused...and then had to do everything manually. There was no bullet in the front either. I think training is still necessary if you want the Astoria line to be entirely R160.
