Gorgor Posted December 27, 2010 Share #27 Posted December 27, 2010 Well it says that service is suspended from Euclid to the Rockaways, so that probably means it's also suspended to Lefferts. And here's an updated map: http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/37/subwayrouteblizzard.png
Sea Beach Posted December 27, 2010 Share #28 Posted December 27, 2010 Oh they are? The site said they were suspended between 36th/59th and Coney Island so I just assumed that's where they terminated. Why would they send them all the way down to 95th though? Wouldn't that cause delays when the merge with the ? Yea, they didnt put it on the site cause it would confuse ppl, but I just found out that there turning trains into and ®'s, so that means no running at all. Roadcruiser1 Posted December 27, 2010 Share #36 Posted December 27, 2010 They should just literally shut the entire system. It's dangerous in this condition to even operate a train. Snow is blowing around because of the heavy wind, and is still creating whiteout conditions. Train operators won't be able to see anything like that. Even on the best days, the guys who file the service advisories miss some of the details, so one can only imagine what's missing when literally every line is messed up in one way or another.
