Due to inclement weather, (7) train service is running express between the 74th Street-Broadway Station and the Queensboro Plaza Station.

How does this work? There's only one express track, or does one way just run on the local tracks and pass through the stations?

And I've also been making maps of the current service changes and put them into a mini-slideshow in order (only 3 maps so far) and I'll continue to update them as service changes. http://scaped.net/mta/blizzard.html

They switch to the local track between 69th and 74th.

Due to inclement weather, (3) train service is running local in both directions from the Chambers Street Station to the 96th Street Station.

Due to inclement weather, please expect delays in (J) train service in both directions at this time.

Let your imagination run wild, because if you can think it, it's probably happening. This is the craziest slew of service changes since 9/11. Just imagine having 3 service changes applied to your line over the course of your train ride. I don't think I could keep up even with a mobile app alerting me to the service changes.

The (N) is apparently running between Astoria and Whitehall Street now. I can only assume terminating trains at 59 Street was troublesome.

And they should have probably suspended the (Q) entirely since the Brighton line is out of service and the (Q) doesn't serve much of a purpose along Broadway in this climate.

"Due to inclement weather, train service is suspended between the Carroll Street Station and Church Avenue Station in both directions."

How does that work?

Downtown trains turn at Carroll, uptown trains turn at Church.

Probably because all the CI trains are stored in the four tunnels underground.

"Due to inclement weather, train service is suspended between the Carroll Street Station and Church Avenue Station in both directions."

How does that work?

(F) and (G) would just end at Carrol back up, at Bergen they can switch tracks south of it.

At Church They can use the express tracks for relays
