Even though it's been here for over a month now, it needs a wash more than some of the current sets on the C, which is weird.

In other news, some folks that love tagging trains in ENY made their way over to the C...

That's probably the mockup shell getting scrapped since I highly doubt they're using wood for the roof of the actual cars.

Not the mockup, it's a production shell. The shell was missing brackets in the frame so instead of re welding the car body, they rejected it. Also another shell fell of a crane. This was in the comment of the original page.

I saw 3316 before you pass the tolls on the GWB on Monday at around 5:30pm. Only caught a glimpse of it, so I had no time to snap a photo of it. It kind of caught me off guard.

3313-3315 on their way to 207th St yard. They were all given a very New York like welcoming with a good ol’ rain shower.

When the all the 179s and 211s are delivered, are the 32s, 42s, and 46s finally being retired? Those cars are disgusting piles of trash and I'd hope for reliability sake that the oldest train in the system is a 68. We should be like other cities and make the system all new-tech instead of worrying about a little window at the front of the train. Like seriously, it's not that hard to get out of the stone age!

Yes, all those cars will be retired once the 211s replace them.

Wow. It really is hard to believe the first rumors for this order came around 2010.

And now the order nearly complete.

How we and the world have changed since then...
