Dre Day 0 Posted April 25, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2008 (MTA)Looks like they are really getting these cars in. Yesterday while driving home i saw a police escorting a R160 car on a flatbed truck. I remember seeing them take this route before. It came over the University Height bridge and then came up 181 Street. Car No.8980. Yesterday if Im not mistaken I saw a R160 wrapped awaiting to cross the GWB. trainfan22 2,234 Posted April 26, 2008 Share #8 Posted April 26, 2008 Kawasaki is sending those cars in WAY too fast. They should take their time making those 160s like astom is doing. And it looks much cooler to see an R40S/M in the station at the same time with an R42. Than to see two R160s in the station at the same time. And its going to be a really sad day when R160s hit the line. There have always been R42s on that line for as long as i can remember once it becomes 100% R160 the line will never be the same... Ive been riding the Mikey my whole life with 42s, now they are becoming extinct little by little on the M. I will be getting my last rides and pics in ALOT when the last sets are running.
