R-142 on the 7?

yesterday while working in the yard I saw an R142 running back and forth during the night( I would say about 12am and 4am) Is this some kind of test?

So if you see the train signed up as a , thats the movie train. I think one of the leads was 7340 or something like that. Theres photos of it on Sub Chat.

I saw a few R-62As on the express track near Smith-9th Streets signed up as a a couple months ago, and then I saw a R-142A on the line flying down the express track at 59th Street signed up as again but this train had cardboard on the windows. Are those for Pelham 1:23?

I hope so! I've just gotta wonder what they're up to... but I bet it's gonna be good. Knowing a thing or two about video myself, I wouldn't doubt there's a reason for a cardboard windowed R142... you never know what they'll do these days.

They should have used the R62s for the shooting of Pelham 123. The R62s would have been a better choice for representing the subway.

No their not. If you look at Big Apple Pictures, they have Times Square and all the important pictures in lower manhattan, an r142, and yankees stadium.

I know they were using R62s when they first started shooting in Brooklyn.
