Cait Sith Posted March 28, 2011 Share #934 Posted March 28, 2011 this post has been edited okay i have done some research and have found out it was not the 19 who got the artics when they came in it was the bx36 one of my contacts told me the bx36 was one of the first routes to serve artics. i base that upon the info i have found and my friend and conclude the bx36 to be one of the home routes. since via white plains got most of them right. he is correct via white plains you get to go. sorry for the wrong info and misunderstanding. Wrong again. The Bx36 was based out of Kingsbridge during the delivery and was RTS and Orion Vs with a FEW D60HFs only warranted for 3 lines. Via White Plains Road got ALL the answers right, you were dead wrong with a few of these! During the delivery for Gun Hill Depot, they were transitioning the Bx5/12/22/40 & 42 from 40ft buses to 60ft buses. Kingsbridge was also receiving artics during the same time for the Bx1, Bx2 & Bx55. The Bx36 was NEVER hosted out of Gun Hill. Before it ran out of West Farms, it was out of Kingsbridge. Once again, get your facts straight before you start throwing out questions.... Take a look at this GUN HILL DEPOTROUTES: BX4,BX5,BX8,BX12,BX14,BX16,BX17,BX22,BX26,BX27,BX28,BX29,BX30,BX31,BX34,BX39,BX40/42. ARTICULATEDS ON BX12.
