SirJokaPlaya Posted March 23, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2011 Well, some of my friends on here were shocked that I no longer drive for NJ Transit. I do miss it but times changed and things got difficult for me, so I resigned. I can come back anytime since I left with good standing. Now, I'm in training to drive School Buses. If you guys heard of STA, or Student Transportation Of America, which the main offices is in Wall, NJ, that's the company I (HOPEFULLY) will be driving for, once I pass my School Bus Endorsement test Thursday, here near Erie, PA. Here's just a few pics of the equipment I'll be driving on my road test and the other buses that's in the lot in Hermitage, PA, my home station. I will be tested on this bus. A 2008 International CE Model with a Wolfington Body. Other buses in the lot: There's some more buses: a few Thomas, more International/Wolfington, and a few Bluebirds. lilbluefoxie Posted March 23, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2011 sounds cool, i was wondering, how come some of the school buses have the engine in the front like a car, but others have the engine in the middle or rear like a city bus?
SirJokaPlaya Posted March 23, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted March 23, 2011 Good question. There are a few flat nose buses with the engine in the front. It's just a big hump to climb over to get to the driver's compartment. But to your question, I have no idea.
