SIRTOA is a small time operation, transit has been using track workers to clean the roadbed for years already. Do you know what the main job of the vac trak is?

Track workers pick up large pieces of trash on the road bed. Vac trak is meant to suck up steel dust off the road bed which can cause fires and signal problems.

That's what I was thinking as well about the steel dust. But I do agree that it is more preferrable to have the machine do the work than to pick up the trash by hand. But well, back to basics...

how about you get a more powerful motor inside the cars. I can design a good motor and drive system to pick up anything that is loose.

That's not the point of the Vac Trak, it's designed to pick up steel dust. Larger items are picked up by hand.
