During the weekend of the race the normal tram service is altered in a very big way. Tram services that normally run down St Kilda Road and Swanston Street are replaced by shuttle trams from St Kilda Junction to the city. Trams down Spencer Street are are replaced by buses(except Route 109 with runs express to Southbank) with the Southern Cross stop used as a starting point for GP express trams. On it's way back down to Southern Cross and to Gates 1 & 2 is C.3004. Seen on the Latrobe Street Bridge. Traveling down towards the Docklands shunt is D2.5008 GP bound is B2.2040 Docklands Shunt bound is B2.2103 GP bound is D2.5004. In Swanston Street operating a shuttle is D2.3525. St Kilda Junction Bound is B2.2054. Lonsdale Street bound is B2.2026 Lonsdale Street bound is D1.3528 D1.3529 passes the stationary 3528. In Spencer Street GP bound is B2.2068 GP Gates 1&2 bound is B2.2040 GP Gates 1&2 bound is B2.2011 Replacing Routes 75 and 86 is Melbourne Bus Link 430 (Scania K230UB/Volgren "CR228L") Coming off the StKilda(Route 96) Light Rail is B2.2050 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
