The  (brownM) is still listed at Canal Street.

Fresh Pond/Turtle explained it best.

The problem with that is riders generally don't know which trains are running to the yard and which ones are returning to Manhattan. Advertising those Coney Island (B) runs would make customers believe that all (B) trains are running to Coney Island. It'd be even more confusing since the (B) does not operate trains with electronic signage, so riders would not readily know if they're on a Brighton Beach train or one extended to Coney Island.

Kinda like the (W) that used to and probably will have some runs going beyond Whitehall St into Brooklyn

The MTA really needs to update the vectors on those line maps. While they looked good in the late '90s and early 2000s, their age is showing quite clearly here.

Fulton Center still does not have a single (W) sign anywhere in it.

It's the Thursday before the Monday it starts. Do they really expect to install this signs this weekend?

I'd hope so, but I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot their so-called crown jewel.

You guys do know they just used the old 2009 map and changed the front cover and Times right?

Another note, the Franklin (S) map was updated to show "Now (B) express service in Brooklyn." What does that have to do with the (S)?

Other then that, every timetable has been updated except for the (N).

Likely a carryover from 2004 to let people know that the (B) is the Brighton Express instead of the <Q> so they don't let it go, expecting the <Q> (and also if they want to take it to 6th Avenue, they know they're able to do so). Not sure why they put it in the new schedule.
