MTA Orion Bus Posted August 29, 2015 Share #15876 Posted August 29, 2015 Q12 needs artic bus badly. I think Q 12 should use artic bus & go to great neck loop & driver can get back to flushing. Did you see the artic on the Q12 the other night? I heard it's rare, but I saw it. LFSA to Flushing.

LFSA to Flushing.Try catching a LFSA on the Q20A/B. I saw one a few months ago but that turned into a Q44 at Jamaica. I believe it was just a fill in that started from Flushing. Honestly the Q12 is fine without artics. However if the Q13 never ran along Northern I could possibly see Artics being used since the majority of the people that use the Q12 use it to Flushing.
Future ENY OP Posted August 29, 2015 Share #15878 Posted August 29, 2015 I saw 5143 on the B44 SBS at Willy B. The driver had a LTD sign in the windshield Goes to tell you that B44SBS needs more buses. Hope that 5324,5327 and 5328 all return back from their summer loans at respective depots back to Flatbush right around the next fall pick.

Future ENY OP Posted August 29, 2015 Share #15880 Posted August 29, 2015 4 things I'd like to see in the Brooklyn Division before years end or in 2016. A) 30x240 and 30x215 billboards B) Side roof ads C) Billboards on SBS buses. D) Since we got those Damm SEPTA Like buses, find rear billboards for them too.
John from Flushing Posted August 29, 2015 Share #15881 Posted August 29, 2015 Q12 line should just go along northern blvd to Main Street turn left & then then right onto Roosevelt ave, it would be faster. Have Q13 service Sandford & bell blvd.
LegoBrickBreaker101 Posted August 29, 2015 Share #15882 Posted August 29, 2015 So the Bx12 SBS has the new programs as well... It was only on 5798 however... Video: Pic: https://instagram.com/p/6-_z9uIs7c/?taken-by=r142a_7795
Cait Sith Posted August 30, 2015 Share #15883 Posted August 30, 2015 I'm not sure how that constitutes as an "Exclusive" since every other SBS line pretty much has that program...

Video: Pic: https://instagram.com/p/6-_z9uIs7c/?taken-by=r142a_7795 Honestly, this is NOT an exclusive.. Those signs got programmed within the last 2-3 months. All started on the M15SBS, and everything else got transitioned off to the other lines. All in replacement of the blue amber lights.. SMDH.

Even though others already have the program, I'd say it's an exclusive because this is the very first Bx12 to have that program.
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted August 30, 2015 Share #15888 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) The Q100 stop at LIC was moved due to construction. It is now around the corner at the Q67 drop off. I don't see any construction going on, ever since they moved the Q67/B62 bus stop, however. It's exclusive to the Bx12, not the entire system.
B35 via Church Posted August 31, 2015 Share #15890 Posted August 31, 2015 Q12 line should just go along northern blvd to Main Street turn left & then then right onto Roosevelt ave, it would be faster. Have Q13 service Sandford & bell blvd. Nah.... At best, it would be a wash..... the ride along sanford is slow, but northern to main isn't any better (quicker).....
trainfanrod Posted August 31, 2015 Share #15891 Posted August 31, 2015 I realized in ENY they have more frequency on the 13 n 83 but i think there still needs to be more frequent bus run on the B84 at least every 15 minutes ridership may not call for it now but as time goes on more customers coming off the 3 train will use it

Have Q13 service Sandford & bell blvd.It takes the Q25/Q34 Q20/Q44 sometimes about 10 minutes just to get from Northern Blvd Main St to Main St Roosevelt Ave. That routing will hurt the Q12.

Q43LTD Posted August 31, 2015 Share #15894 Posted August 31, 2015 The Q44 has a slightly modified sign. It says Bronx Zoo/West Farms Sq.

paulrivera Posted September 1, 2015 Share #15896 Posted September 1, 2015 Most of the Bx12's SBS batch were reprogrammed over the weekend apparently. I checked today and I noticed all but a couple of the buses had the new programs, while I saw none at all when I last checked on Friday.
NewFlyer 230 Posted September 1, 2015 Share #15897 Posted September 1, 2015 I took the M102 from E14th Street to E67th Street. Wasn't a bad ride at all I believe it was only 23 minutes. Skipped the LFSA on the M101 and a New Flyer D60HF came. I didn't realize it was it was a 2000 unit until I looked up front and saw 1004. With the A/C they sound just like the 2003 D60HF's. Was my first time taking a Manhattan bus.

Then again the new buses aren't much better.
