Over the course of these three trips only ONE bypassed the C. Each time the got to Euclid about a minute ahead of the . Question: There seems to be a bellmouth off the s/b local track south of Broadway Junction. Can anyone explain this? Or is it just another useless second system provision. Jamaica Express Posted April 16, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 16, 2011 The Bellmouths at Broadway Junction were for provision of a proposed extension along the BMT Jamaica Line or a Jamaica Ave Subway, however, it should be noted neither one of these projects were a part of the IND Second System plans... Im assuming if the Second System itself expanded, more BMT line would have been taken over and these tunnels were built with provision for this.
