MTA Bus 145, now and then

Recommended Posts

Is that just a weird window design on that little window next to the door or is it a sign?

That is a sign. These buses have LCD side signs.

LCD??? there is not a single bus in the whole system that has LCD signs. The newer buses and some of the old ones have LED signs, but the rest(majority) have flip dot signs

The small windows displays the route # like Q110 The bigger sign just displays its destination speaking BP 100s, LGA may have to send a few of their own 100s to BP to help out with the Q-64.

No bus purchased by the MTA has side signs. 101-184, the ex-Bee Line units have Luminor MatrixMAX side signs. These signs are also on the R46s and were on the R44s.
