Those pics were taken at the CI yard rodeo. The MTA employees were messing with the settings. There are also pics of R160s signed up as the (B) they was just playing with the signs thats all. And besides those were eastern division 160s that set will run on the (J)(M)(Z) and (L) lines not the (C). The (C) will get the R46s once the R38s are scrapped because they are extending the line to ten cars and eight 75ft cars.

Plus, the (E) is the 8th av local, not the (C).

Lets just put it this way, The FIND system have now been programed with every line with every possible routes that the train can take. Lets put it this way there a routing for the (V) to Canarie, Via the Cut over the (J) line to BWJ to (L) line. (D) to all 3 branches of the (A) line. (G) Shuttles from Bedford-Norsrand Ave to Hoty St. (M) Via all line to Stillwell Ave. Franklin Avenue(S), RockPark (S). I can go on and on with more. I sometimes before I start work I would just sit on a R160a1's at Canarie Yard fulling around with the FIND.

I know this is true for the R160a1's, I don't know about the R160a2's or the

R160b's.

As one person told me that the FIND system has enought Hard Drive Space to keep all this on it.

Yep the (NYCT) is extending the (C) line to ten cars. For service increases and better flexibility to swap cars with the (A) line. And the 160s and cant run out in the rocaways due to their computer systems shutting off. And that is due not getting enough juice from the third rail out there. Its funny how all SMEE equipment run out on the rocaways fine. but NTT equipment like 110Bs and 160s have all these problems like not getting enough juice from the third rail. And mind you that the NTT are supposed to be energy efficient.

Wow. I wish the (MTA) put better cars on the (C), other than the R46. B) we might see a R46 (A) train one day.:D

Cause they need more electricity....(the bright lights, SMEE, all that new tech stuff.) You should be a Quaker when you grow up. Liking simple stuff...

Well, I think find something shocking today on the Manhattan Bridge. I was on the North side of the bridge on the (D) heading towards Pacific. On the Broadway side, there was an idle Q on the Coney Island-bound tracks, and it was an R160B, too.

Q Coney Island

Q Brighton Lcl

Q Broadway Exp

The lead car was 8957. I know for a fact there was a re-route on the (N) and (Q) lines for this weekend over the Montague Tunnel. I was wondering if anyone knows the status of this (Q)? Testing the (Q) for a complete line of R160s?

Actually the train was being used for the fliming of "The Taking of Pelham 123"

BTW Yes the R160's do have the programming for (Q)uincy Service to 96th Street and 2nd Ave seen it myself.
