West of Hudson Question

What is the likelyhood of catching the MTA branded locomotives on the West of Hudson branches (Pascack Valley and Port Jervis)

Very likely , theres usually 2 per day on my line (PVL)....or sometimes more....the Main/PJ has more.

ya miss one ur F U C K E D!!!!!!! plus the travel patterns of orange ppl doesn't even warrant a service improvement. The only line that is warranted is the west shore line as intercity bus tends to ignore 9w corridor to its own peril!!!

The (MTA) equipment is mainly used on the PJL/B&ML Line. I hardly see any (MTA) equipment on the PVL.

 

Your chances are great to catch them on that line.

 

Now if you wanna catch the new repainted F40 then you'd have to chill during rush hours to catch that as thats not easy to catch. Caught it 2xs.

Yea , its rare....but during rush hour the expresses use MNRR Equipment....

ill be happy with anything painted in MTA colors If I spend the money and time to go all the way out there
