R36 Preservation Posted May 5, 2011 Share #9 Posted May 5, 2011 I can tell you the orange door paint scheme cars received back in the late 1970s and early 80s was graffiti resistant and even after the GOH program the R36 cars that were on the still had orange doors until the mid 1990s when they were painted red. The ones on the remained orange until 1991. The Main Line R36s (on the 6) had them until 1995. The Main Line R33s were repainted in 1988-89.
