Joe Posted May 6, 2011 Share #26 Posted May 6, 2011 I'm not a fan of those TSA perps sticking their grubby (and sticky) fingers in my bag. That said, even with the NYPD-run searches, I use a different entrance if they're checking bags.
metsfan Posted May 6, 2011 Share #27 Posted May 6, 2011 TSA can show up anywhere involving a transportation hub. I really don't care what any of you say negative or positive about TSA policy, but they risk their lives every day to make sure you can get home to whine about your experience. Just remember that. - A

When they start doing patrols like acutal law enforcement or have background checks done on them, then I might respect them. Untill then their no better then some square badge in the mall. Sorry wrong quote, this is too INDman, Ah yes, that's right. I forgot we had these things in America called rights, including one such as the right to privacy...the right to not have to walk through a body scanner (BTW, TSA agents have been caught spanking the monkey to underage girls who've walked through scanners), if I have kids someday to not have them illegally get groped by some closet pedofile (TSA agents have done full body hand searches on minors, including made some take off their shirts in public), and I also have the right to have my belongings not searched publicly in front of other people because it is none of their business what I have or am reading (TSA agents have detained students in Middle East studies class because they found an assigned book "questionable"). People in this country once had the privacy to not be searched without just cause. How would YOU like strangers going through all of your things? Oh you don't mind. That's great. Now wait till they start making you boot up your laptop and show them all the files you have. Got porn? Illegal music downloads? All your shit will be all over the place even though it has nothing to do with transportation safety. Yes, that's right. Let's throw all of the rights that made this country great, and a whole bunch of taxpayer dollars we already don't have into a cesspool of incompetence that acts as security theater instead of actually doing anything. All TSA is, is an expensive way of making people buy their drinks at the airport and confiscating items, just like how post 9/11 you can't bring a meal with you to any major ballpark. Yes because there's really gonna be a bomb in a damn ham sandwich. It's already at the airports, they wanna bring it to trains...what's next? And the sad part is half the people in this country are too damn stupid to realize what's happening until they wake up one day and they realize they live in a police state and they need a permission slip from the government to use a toilet. Joel Up Front Posted May 7, 2011 Share #44 Posted May 7, 2011 Just something I've wanted to say to people that support being monitored everywhere.
