These cars were inspired in part by the recent buzz surrounding the upcoming Amfleet III order and in part by a desire to design a low level platform-compatible version of the Acela HSR set. I wound up keeping the basic streamlined design of the Acela cars and included a set of LED signs on the sides similar in style to the LCD signs on the side of the Acela equipment. The interiors are modeled more as an updated version of the Amfleet I, including upholstered 2x2 seating and the standard Amfleet interior LED.
