KNIGHTRIDER3:16 Posted May 9, 2011 Author Share #26 Posted May 9, 2011 Ive taken every medicine known to man for allergies. They never work then i went to a allergie specialist. He told me he was going to put me on for getting the shots. He told me i would have to come every week on a thursday or monday.then after awhile of getting the shots i would only have to come once a month. Then the docters office kept calling saying that i wouldnt be able to come in for god knows how many excuses they gave me.then they expected me to come in on my work days which was a big no no in my book. so i said the hell with it ill just suck it up and deal with it.i wish there was a easier way of going about dealing with it.Its so stupid. Trust me man the process in the beginning is hard cuz I had to get 14 shots in my back then 10 on each arm to start then once they know my allergies then I start the every week to 2 Enviormental shots but it has helped so all I can say is good luck but you might go back 1 day. CenSin Posted May 9, 2011 Share #27 Posted May 9, 2011 Well, I don't know if I'm being ignored for "selling," but go do some homework on OPC-3 (or ask any knowledgeable physician). You can get in in a variety of forms from many places. Having to take that many shots is ridiculous.

Joel Up Front Posted May 9, 2011 Share #30 Posted May 9, 2011 I don't, but I wanted to keep my mouth quiet about it. Almost everyone I've met over the years has some level of allergies.
Grand Concourse Posted May 9, 2011 Share #31 Posted May 9, 2011 ...am I the only one who doesn't suffer from allergies here? Funny enough, I'm fine so far. But usually allergies wise, I'd sneeze in a 'chain' of 3. Other times the skin on my nose itches like crazy where I'd need to soak a towel in cold water to make it feel better. Occasionally I'd get a buildup of phlem, but I don't feel it ever got that bad. Occasional allergy pills and I'm fine.
FamousNYLover Posted May 9, 2011 Share #32 Posted May 9, 2011 I don`t have an allergy unless if I encounter long line like in Natural History:s main entrance.

4P3607 Posted May 10, 2011 Share #37 Posted May 10, 2011 I like how the Zyrtec commercials are showing people doing their "favorite outside activities again". According to the commercial, people who take Zyrtec will be able to "go outside and not worry about allergies!". I take Zyrtec, I'm still stuck at home not being able to bike ride OR take weekday subway trips. And when I go to school and come back, I have to cover up my nose and not touch my eyes or allergies will take me over .
SoSpectacular Posted May 10, 2011 Share #38 Posted May 10, 2011 The spring weather doesn't affect me much but my nose will start running like a fountain if I leave the windows open in the house, since I live on the sixth floor of my building NEXT to a flowering tree you know that's asking for it!! UGH!

I'm skeptical of any "magical" herbal cure type things because a lot of them are gimmicks and placebos, and I don't put much stock in things until hearing from somewhere reputable that they work.
