Theres a reason this woman looks like this, because shes a miserable nasty person, thats why shes a fat pig and wibbling and wobbling when she takes every step. Im sure she was real nasty when people told her to keep it down and thats why her lard ass was kicked off the train.

Disgusting. It was really gross watching her walk off the train

If she wasnt being rude and shit to the police she wouldnt have got arrested, its her own dam faught, she could have easily moved cars or just stopped talking. Some people just dont know when to shut it. Rule here dont run your loud mouth to the police.

If someone had a video camera that shows she was on the phone for 16hrs I would love to see it. And if it got on the other peeps nerves for that long why would they wait until the 16th hour to say something and to bring it to the attention of the crew?

I still can't believe this was worth stopping a train for

I can. Apparently you haven't been stuck somewhere with some nut job yelling and screaming incessantly. It becomes past annoying to hear the constant noise, especially when you have folks that like to make a ruckus.

Ofcourse you can. I bet any amount of money what the people said is not even half true.

But why would they go through all of that for? Now I've seen those damn preachers on the Staten Island Ferry. Here you are trapped on a damn boat for 30 minutes or more with some nut job yelling at the top of his lungs at 07:30 in the morning about how you're going to hell. Really what I need to hear, and on a train it can be even worse. The people that drive me nuts are the ones that make phone calls to every damn person in their phone.

"Hello?? Hello??? Yeah, I'm in the tunnel now. Blah blah blah blah blah..."

Next phone call... Same sh*t different person. "Hello? Hello? Yeah, where are you at?? I'm on the expressway now." Imagine hour upon hour of that sh*t. It's enough to make someone go crazy.

Its apart of going out in public. Its gets on my nerves as much as that baby did when I was going to England. 7hr flight...baby cried on n off for 6hrs of the flight.

But the point is 16hrs please there is no way. As many times as I did the 319 New York i never had someone talk on the phone for 2hrs. So to say 16hrs come on now.

But what you saying is I get....my point is why stop an entire train for one person at a railroad crossng at that! What if they stopped your x17 18 ect for one person while enroute to work or the ferry?

What could someone talk about for 16hrs.....

I completly understand its annoying but its apart of going out in public plain and simple.

On the ferry I'm more worried about the Andrew Barberi crashing into the dock again

LOL... Believe me we've had a few yappers that folks would gladly stop the bus to kick off. We'd probably stand up and give an applause for a few minutes. The other loud mouth I believe moved away because I haven't saw her in almost a year. There's only one loud mouth and my cursing tirade pretty much sent home the message to her that I was not dealing w/that f*cking yapping every morning. The entire bus is quiet except for her, so now that I moved my spot she takes her @ss all the way to the back. I don't care where so goes, but she knows not to sit anywhere near me again.

I agree though I do find it hard for someone to yack for 16 hours, but if she had an outlet to plug her phone into then it would be possible, but probably she yacked off and on the whole time and in a desginated quiet car nonetheless, hence why people were pissed off. The way I look at it is, yes it is the public, but there becomes a point in which ones' behaviour is just inappropriate and when that happens that person should be dealt with accordingly. This was a smart move by Amtrak. Think about it from a business point of view. If you've gone one passenger who is irritating tons of passengers on a train or plane or whatever, would you rather get rid of the one unruly passenger or have a whole bunch of pissed off passengers?

I think they sent a message and the message was, those who cannot have decency and respect for their fellow passengers are not allowed to ride with Amtrak. Just because someone pays their fare doesn't mean that they have carte blanche to act like a fool and make everyone else's commute miserable.

It's amazing to see so many people trying to rationalize the yapper's actions. Quiet means just that, quiet. Amtrak police upheld the rules of the railroad. All lard bucket had to do was move to another car. How many posters have been on a subway or railroad where the train was held due to police action? It happens every day .Case closed. I wonder how many posters have been in a restaurant where there were signs saying no cellphone usage except in designated areas. You get an incoming call and you remove yourself from the dining area. Period. Or maybe some posters think Mickey D's IS upscale. Carry on.

Did they offer her the option to move? I'm not rationalizing any action, if they had offered her to move to another car INSTEAD of stopping a train just so police could escort someone off the property is a HUGE waste of time and money.

I really don't care for any of these people for getting uppity like that, they're no better than anyone else.

Her option was to move out of the Quiet car even before the police got involved. If I was sitting in a "no smoking" area with a lighted cigarette should I expect the police to give me the option to put it out or move? If I was speeding on a highway should I expect 5-0 to give me the option of slowing down? You break the rules you pay the piper. To the other passengers it's " sorry for the inconvenience". Remember the nut job on the (6) the other day? Should the C/R have closed down and the crew continued on their merry way so the other riders weren't delayed? You are entitled to your opinion but I think the Amtrak police made the right call. Carry on.

If its loud enough ,I will address it because I need my Concentration .

I know guys that will stop the bus and I support that if they are Sombitches about it...Not everybody wants to hear what happened to frank and his stupid account.

IAWTP 100%

I have NO problem embarassing somebody for being on the phone. If your on it for 5-10 mins then no problem, but some people want to talk for the whole 4 hr ride to/from Providence....Homey don't play that!

Beyond the fact that is just rude some people have zero discretion on what they talk about in public....I don't need to know that you "swallow"!(Yes, a girl had this phone conversation on the way to Hartford,SMFH!)

While I would'nt have arrested her, I would have made here move or put her off at the next stop.

This has nothing to do with people being uppity. Rules are in place for a reason because they establish order, which some people just can't accept. It is not okay to just yack and yack and yack because one wants to or because they own a phone. Society cannot function if everyone did whatever they wanted at any time. Now I'm sure you have neighbors. Your neighbors could crank up the volume and blast their music night and day which I doubt you would find acceptable. While some folks are considerate of others, most aren't, and that's the problem with our society today. Folks don't have consideration or respect for anyone including themselves.

The way in which she conducted herself was not acceptable. If you want to talk for hours on end in a car that is clearly designated as a quiet car then don't sit in that car. She knew where she was sitting and she sat there as if she was going to cause a ruckus anyway just because she felt that she could talk wherever she wanted to talk and disregard everyone else around her, as well as the rules in place.

What it comes down to is what is best for the majority and in this case one person making a bunch of noise and disturbing everyone else in the car is just ridiculous and should not be tolerated. When one is public one must know how to conduct themselves and certain behaviour is just not appropriate. Simple as that. Her behaviour was no more appropriate than the man stripping and running around naked on the (6) train. If you must talk on the cell phone then have respect for others and talk at a volume that isn't going to disturb others. If she was taught appropriate behaviour by her parents at home, she would know that this sort behaviour is not at all normal.
