LRG Posted May 20, 2011 Share #76 Posted May 20, 2011 The bus looks too boxy, especially those doors. Otherwise, nice bus. :tup:And the Jackie Gleason C40LF's are losing their sturdiness too fast. There are some buses that feel like they have no suspension at all. Those are Ameriview doors, not the "classic" doors found on the other buses. m7zanr160s Posted May 20, 2011 Share #78 Posted May 20, 2011 Anyone notice that there aren't any "Hoodlum" lights like those on the 800s & 900s? What's that? Sounds funny.
Amtrak7 Posted May 21, 2011 Share #79 Posted May 21, 2011 Seeing that big flat surface where there are no seats on top of the wheel well makes me want to take a retracted tripod and set it up there to make a time lapse

Grand Concourse Posted May 21, 2011 Share #81 Posted May 21, 2011 nah college point needs them as well as spring creek, then jg, wf can wait JG needs new buses. The newest they have are the crappy O7s. HA! HA!!!! Better off sending them to LGA to kick off some RTSs and to JFK to kick off these crappy Orion Vs. I'm on 5952 as I post this and this interior is ALL sorts of ****** up! Seats are ripped and/or missing, broken window panels and so much more! Agreed! Keep the RTSs even if they are old. Those JFK O5s are shit. I may like the O5s over the o7s, but those O5s are in sorry shape. Even the engine sounds like it barely hangs on.
KNIGHTRIDER3:16 Posted May 21, 2011 Author Share #82 Posted May 21, 2011 My question has to be,Which Depot gets them first?
Broadway Local Posted May 21, 2011 Share #83 Posted May 21, 2011 I'm not so sure, but I was thinking College Point will get them first. These are the orders I think the C40LF's go: 1.) College Point 2.) Spring Creek 3.) Jackie Gleason 4.) West Farms I was thinking, Jackie Gleason should get more C40LFs and send the Orion VII CNG's to West Farms. College Point should send some Orion V's to Spring Creek or West Farms.
Grand Concourse Posted May 21, 2011 Share #84 Posted May 21, 2011 I agree, JG's O7s are the oldest. I'd understand JG getting the new NFs later if their O7s were the new ones that WF has. With the older NFs that JG has, JG deserves newer buses to balance their fleet age.
SoSpectacular Posted May 21, 2011 Share #85 Posted May 21, 2011 Well, depending on they're numbering the buses I'm sure Queens will be seeing theirs pretty soon...
