B35 via Church Posted May 21, 2011 Share #27 Posted May 21, 2011 Actually Yuki, Via, not Yuko. Yuko is girl's name. Yuki is girl's name.Men's name has long U in like Yuuki. What conclusion am I supposed to draw from this......
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted May 21, 2011 Author Share #28 Posted May 21, 2011 What conclusion am I supposed to draw from this...... I know it's confusing but basically what he is saying is that the difference in pronunciation is small and that the long "u" is what makes the difference. In other words you would hold the "u" longer.

Joel Up Front Posted May 22, 2011 Share #33 Posted May 22, 2011 That long "u" is what makes the move so memorable. (It's also part of the Japanese, so you can't get away with not pronouncing it!) No one can pronounce Ryu's name right, either.
