Trainspotter Posted May 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2008 MTA expands MetroCards loss policy The MTA will now reimburse the balance of lost 7-day and 14-day MetroCards purchased on a credit or debit card. The program had once been limited only to the 30-day card. There were 5,944 reimbursement claims for lost cards in March 2008, the last month data was available. The average reimbursement was $48.50. Yea it should be expanded more, i guess they'll see how this goes first. There is a limit on the number of lost cards you can report per year.
