N-Trizzy2609 11 Posted May 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2008 I've been working on my demo and my uncle like to film some very good music videos (even though they're very low budget.) I've written a song about meeting a girl on the subway and falling in love with her. I need idea on how to execute this video. I wanna film in the subway but I don't wanna get arrested nor looked at funny. So tell where, when, and what are the best places to shoot a video. I will post the lyrics in a new reply below. Maybe then I can get some sort of an idea to what I'm doing. (By the way, it's a rap song.)
N-Trizzy2609 11 Posted May 22, 2008 Author Share #2 Posted May 22, 2008 Verse 1: Got out of school, had to loose the strain. It was dark and it was about to rain. That's when I headed up and got on that subway train. Saw a chick in the corner who was in pain. I asked why she's down, just cried away. Saying that her boyfriend left her earlier today. "For all the cheating he did, he will pay!" That's when I hugged her, boy that made her day. We listened to my iPod, all them love songs. From the way she looked at me, I knew it was on. Something so sexy, and something so strong. For some reason that ride felt so damn long. She and her boyfriend? They were done, And she ain't flirting with me just for fun. A bullet in my heart, from her love gun. So I told her... (Call me when you need someone.) Chorus: Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Verse 2: Our first date went better then I expected. Off to Fridays, nothing went hectic. We were making out as soon as we left it. And from her kisses, I knew it was the best shit. The night began to warm when she smiled. And her perfume was so sweet, it was driving me wild. But she keep poking me as if she was a child. And we flowed backwards just like the Nile. We walked through the park, way pass dark. But somehow, we mange to light that spark. Guess taking that train was very smart, Because she and I would of been far apart! She's my universe right down to my sun. And I can't believe that she was the one. Feels like the grand prize I've just won. So I told her... (Call me when you need someone.) Chorus: Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Verse 3: She's the best thing that ever happen to me. She's the best thing I've ever happen to see. Boy I love how this situation's rapping to me. All the love shared, and all that's gotten to be. With a girl like this, there's no desire to cheat. This is girl to sweep off her feet. She's so damn hot, she'll melt the sleet. And my feelings for her are beyond deep! That's why I love it when she's around. Her smile would turn anyone's frown. And she is the talk of the town. I love it when she sings "Call me when you're down." Reason why I love her? She's too much fun. And cooler then any peppermint gum. My feelings for her? Infinity plus one. So I told her... (Call me when you need someone.) Chorus: Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone. Call me when you're down, Call me when you need someone.
trainfan22 2,248 Posted May 23, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 23, 2008 Just film yourself rapping around different parts of the system. And find a girl to act in your video. Well basically a similar concept of this video... And you can film the footage for the video on the south brookyn lines. and lines just to name a few... Harry 1,090 Posted May 23, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 23, 2008 You definitely need a video chick and she has to be either super hot or super cute (depending on your ages).
KTrainExp 16 Posted May 23, 2008 Share #6 Posted May 23, 2008 You won't be arrested I think. Just tell the police that it's for filming purposes. I think you should do a scene on an elevated route like the and then on a route underground with a long pair of straight track like the uptown . You don't want a lot of turning noises when doing the video. Sounds really good so far. You just need a really hot/cute girl. Shouldn't be needing any money for this production at all. Maybe we'll be seeing you in a few years as the next Akon or something lol.

I always admired Jesse Malin's video, that's where I got the idea. I don't think the Culver or West End lines would work well. Reason why I love her? She's too much fun.And cooler then any peppermint gum. I love that! That is classic B)B) Thank you. I thought it was a cute analogy. You definitely need a video chick and she has to be either super hot or super cute (depending on your ages). Well I'm 15 so a supermodel wouldn't work. lol. I gotta few girls, just hope their parent would let them go to New York. Colts Neck is a long ways from Queens You won't be arrested I think. Just tell the police that it's for filming purposes. Hmm Queens is good idea. Funny thing, I thought my ex would be a perfect candidate for it but she's kinda chubby and stuff and everyone would make fun of her. Sad world. Keep em coming please! N-Trizzy2609 11 Posted May 25, 2008 Author Share #9 Posted May 25, 2008 Ok, here's what I've got so far. For the beginning I might do a few scenes on the 42nd Street but most underground shots will take place on Queens Blvd. I wanna do it in a R-46, undoubtedly do it on an express like or if we're lucky . I defiantly going to do night shot on the , and get a rail fan window shot down the line. What'cha think so far. Oh I will post the date of filming so anybody who wants a spot in it can come down.
