Jim Posted June 1, 2011 Share #1 Posted June 1, 2011 Does anyone know where I could get access to MTA ridership data on a station by station basis? Also, does the MTA do surveys to find out where people travel to and from? Thanks, Jim
Roadcruiser1 Posted June 1, 2011 Share #2 Posted June 1, 2011 Wikipedia shows you the amount of passengers that used the stations when you type the stations name.

Thanks, Jim Here is the ridership data from 2010: http://www.mta.info/nyct/facts/ridership/ The MTA only counts entries from stations, not exits. 6 Lexington Ave Posted June 1, 2011 Share #4 Posted June 1, 2011 The person who is responsible for updating Wikipedia should put the 2010 info in. It's really helpful and interesting!
geoking66 Posted June 1, 2011 Share #5 Posted June 1, 2011 As one of the people updating them on Wikipedia, it can take a while, there are 468 stations after all. Some of the annual numbers are pretty interesting; look at the L in particular.

Amtrak7 Posted June 3, 2011 Share #7 Posted June 3, 2011 The person who is responsible for updating Wikipedia should put the 2010 info in. It's really helpful and interesting! It'll take a long time, even with semi-automated aids.
