Edmonton Transit System

Recommended Posts

Another Canadian system I visited was Edmonton Transit...which is 100% Low Floor & 100% New Flyer:

A pair of ETS New Flyer D40LFs at rest in Downtown Edmonton just south of the Central LRT Station:

The second oldest bus in the fleet #201, a 1993 New Flyer D40LF heads away from Lakewood Transit Center:

4910, a 2003 New Flyer D60LF loads passengers on its way to Northgate Transit Centre on Route 9, one of the longest routes in the ETS system:

On weekends, the artics are grounded as 40 footers serve the 9 line. Here is 4798, a 2008 New Flyer D40LFR passing Central LRT Station heading south:

#4619, one of 231 D40LFRs that eventually replaced the last of the GM Fishbowls sits at Clareview LRT Station, the most modern terminal in the ETS system:

4386, one of many full wrapped D40LFs at Westmount Transit Centre:

4657 & 4836 are seen at Jasper Place TC where most of the lines here serve West Edmonton Mall:

ETS has a unique way of advertising…half wraps on the left…full wraps on the right:

Here is #4742, fully wrapped for the transit watch system…:

Found a unique D40LF operating for the St. Albert Transit System…complete with roll signs:

I don’t know what the person that designed this “bus” was smoking…:
