Eric B Posted June 27, 2011 Share #54 Posted June 27, 2011 Due to a collapse in the Christie Street Connector, there is no service between Essex Street and Forest Hills until further notice. Before the Chrystie connector was even thought about being reopened; I envisioned a collapse on the Nassau line that would force them to use the connector. (And I feared that in actuality, they still wouldn't, and just cut the off at Essex, and reduce the (Mx) to a full time shuttle).

It's the other way around IND/BMT Can't run on the IRT.But IRT trains can run on the IND/BMT(whether its Redbird work service) or yard moves nothing to be proved. Last Time; Lettered line (IND/BMT) cars can't run on numbered lines (IRT)! And also FYI Numbered Line cars can't run passenger service on Lettered Lines b/c of the gap. Get It!?!?!? Thank my post if you agree with me.
R188 7857 Posted June 28, 2011 Share #68 Posted June 28, 2011 IND/BMT trains are WIDER than IRT trains. There was a mix up between R10s and another subway car (BMT/IND) during a move, so it scraped the platform of bedford park blvd !

Eric B Posted June 28, 2011 Share #71 Posted June 28, 2011 FYI Numbered Line cars can't run passenger service on Lettered Lines b/c of the gap.Get It!?!?!? I would do it by simply designating the (J)/4 shuttle as a special 4 on the line (using the digital signage of the 160's. You could do what he's saying by having a special N program on the 142's, but there would be no reason to have an shuttle to City Hall. They would just say "transfer to the for service to Canal", or "to a nearby station".
Law Posted June 28, 2011 Share #72 Posted June 28, 2011 How about this? 34 St Hearld Sq Trains Run In 2 Sections- 57 St-7 Ave To 34 St Hearld Sq On The (N)/(Q)/® Platform. 34 St Hearld Sq On The (;)/(D)/(F)/(M) Platform To Coney Is On The Platform. Note:Please Use The Northbound Train to Go To Dtmars Blvd. Don't think having the going to three stops (34th St, 42nd St and 57th St) is useful, just take the or it only differs by one stop.
