Because of major complaining from people who rant and rave about the good old days.. (2009)

We temporarily suspend all (M) service with the <M> It runs from bay parkway to metropolitan avenue. During rush hours only. Trains marked up as an (M) will run as the myrtle shuttle, with 120 minute headways. With no substitute.

(MTA) Screwing your commute, saving us money.

Starting July 1, 2017 until Fall 2019

The Queens Boulevard line between Roosevelt Avenue & 71 Avenue will be closed due to Renovation of the Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, 63 Drive, & 67 Avenue stations, and making Woodhaven Blvd an express stop.

Free shuttle buses will run between Roosevelt Avenue & 71 Avenue.

Shuttle buses run in 2 variations:

Between Roosevelt Avenue to 71 Avenue, making all local stops

Non-stop shuttle bus betwen Roosevelt Avenue to 71 Avenue.

Here's what will happen:

Starting Early Winter 2019, There will be a shuttle train running between Roosevelt Avenue and 71 Avenue making local stops every 30 minutes.

Restoration of service will start Fall 2019, and Jamaica & Manhattan bound express trains will make a stop at Woodhaven Blvd.

Side note: During Spring 2011, Local trains will run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Avenue, then run express from Roosevelt Avenue to Queens Plaza.

This will improve service for 50,000 daily customers.

Ladies and Gentleman :Due to a water bottle falling unto the tracks at 145 street The A,B,C,D,E,F,G,J,L,M,N,Q,R AND S trains are not running. The Z will come every hour, and bus service will come every 2 hours. The Z will run until coney island where trains go either on the brightin line(to Jamaica Center), or on the Sea Beach line( to Jamiaca Center) and then go via the manhattan bridge until w.4 street, where local trains run until 50 street. Expresses run over the E until Jamica Center.

Also the 1,2,3,4,5,6, and S trains are running because a paper fell on the edge of the platform. And 7 trains run only between queens Plaza and 33 street. Thank you and have a wonderful day

How would a water bottle or a piece of paper affect the rails so much? For starters, there's already a whole lot of garbage on the tracks, so one more piece will likely not matter. Secondly, if an incident, regardless of circumstances affects such a localized area, it will have little to no impact on the system as a whole.

Also, since this thread and this one are practically the same, I'm going to call for a lock on the other one. Please continue the discussion here and here only. Enjoy the day.

Due to a stalled uptown train at the 174th street station (2)(5) all uptown trains are running express from 149th street-3rd avenue and 180th street. For local service between 3rd avenue and 180th street transfer at 180th street for a downtown local making all stops.

--------------------------

Due to a police investigation at the 149th Street-Grand Concourse upper level all uptown (4) trains are terminating at 3rd Avenue-149th street on the (2)(5) line. All downtown (4) service is skipping 138th street and 149th street, There is also no uptown service between 138th street and burnside avenue, for uptown service between the affected service free shuttle buses are providing service between 125th street to burnside avenue.

------------------------------

Due to switch malfunctions on both levels at 125th street (4)<4>(5)<5>(6)<6> trains can not pass by in either directions. How would you change service?
