Grand Concourse Posted July 5, 2011 Share #26 Posted July 5, 2011 Awesome! Man I have to go to Philadelphia again. Last time i went, it was on an 8th grade field trip. I'd love to get some shots of that city again, especially of the bell. Well, not during the July 4th time period, but I concider these my favs. From August 3 years ago:

SubwayGuy Posted July 5, 2011 Share #28 Posted July 5, 2011 I disagree, I think it's dated and would likely 'fall asleep' listening to it. They need a modern adaptation of it. I agree...Ronan Tynan's version is much better

Fresh Pond Posted July 5, 2011 Share #30 Posted July 5, 2011 I went to the beach, popped a few M80s, and went to the Macy's Fireworks out of sheer boredom...overall, I had fun, I'll upload the fireworks pics eventually Happy 235th Birthday USA. Don't forget to party along with Lady Liberty. She's turning 125 years old today. That's not until October
NYCtrainfan01 Posted July 6, 2011 Share #31 Posted July 6, 2011 I know this won't sound very popular, but can someone use a newer recording [different singer] of that song? They've played it so many times for Yankees home games, that I just have to mute it whenever it plays. It's not the song, it's the singer, it just doesn't resonate with me [maybe because i'm young]. I think a variety of singers would be nice. I agree with you 100%
