bknightshadow45 Posted July 5, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 5, 2011 On my way home I spotted and rode this R46 train. I spotted this train around 11:40pm on July 4th at Jay Street-Metrotech. The video was shot at Clinton-Washington Avenue.

bknightshadow45 Posted July 5, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted July 5, 2011 Since it's July 4th, it's possible that the (NYCT) added trains for the train for people coming from Manhattan for the fireworks show. Either way I was happy that the train got an upgrade from the R32's.

Bill from Maspeth Posted July 5, 2011 Share #5 Posted July 5, 2011 There you go. 11:40 PM. Under normal conditions, by 11:40 PM all the C trains are off the road for the night. But due to the festivities and heavy late night ridership, the C ran later so however the supplement schedule was operated so it just so happened that an R46 was used. That what's I thought the had extra service on July 4th. It caught me off guard that trains were running past 11pm. Some people thought it was an train when the R46 train came to Jay Street-Metrotech.
