However from an NBA point of view the 'decision' led to one of their best seasons(except for a few troubled clubs due to the recession)in terms of ticket sales and tv ratings in league history. It can be argued that other than say the 1996 season at height of the Jordan/Bulls Dystany this was one of their best years ever. It could be washed away though if this NBA lockout lasts well into the upcoming 2011-'12 season that cancels games or even the entire season. He deserves all the hate for spitting on the Cavs with that stupid show he did [things would've been fine if he just joined Miami sans the show].
