mfs NJT459 Posted July 26, 2011 Share #26 Posted July 26, 2011 Washington Twp is all Suburban NABIs, some with different engines (5350-5366) and MCIs. Newton Ave has Suburban NABIs with fare boxes (5367-5390) and NABI Transits (5568-5590), Novas, and MCIs
jayden 973 Posted July 27, 2011 Share #27 Posted July 27, 2011 Only Orange, Meadowlands, & Hilton use to have the Nova A's. Hamilton use too also have Nova A's but they were sent to Meadowlands & Hilton also doesn't have anymore. So that leave's Orange & Meadowlands as the only 2 but Meadowlands are bout to start getting replaced which is gonna leave Orange as the garage remaining with the last of 1994-95 fleet in NJ Transit history. jayden 973 Posted July 27, 2011 Share #31 Posted July 27, 2011 Greenville does not have all of 5383-5405. They only got about 14 in between bc when they received them from newton ave. garage they where only given to Greenville so they could retire their 3700's when they had them which was only 11 they had & I know this bc when I was in Trenton in May I saw 5405 on the 409 at the train station. There are no nabis 5384-5405 in the south. 5383 as I stated is at Washington Twp. I was just in Newton Av a week ago and everything in there was 5568-90 series. I was in there for a few hrs. I have a pic when Wash. Twp had 5396 ect but those buses were xferd up north. I even have pics of some of the 5400 series when they WAS at Newton Av and this was before the 5500 series came. I will upload those pics in a few.

Unless 5405 was moved recently, it was here at Greenville. Not 5383, but Greenville does have 5384-5404 straight, I've seen all of them, even 5405. Here's 5405 on the 126 last year: Thanks! Anytime man.

553 Bridgeton Posted July 27, 2011 Share #35 Posted July 27, 2011 There is know way he saw 5405 on the 409. I remember rushing up to Newton Av to get pics of those 5400s on the 404 before they left. As I said all I saw is 5500 series in Newton Av. I will go back up there later in the week and confirm it. [EDIT] Now dont I feel small, here is 5383 on the 407 which I took a pic on at Moorestown Mall a back in April IIRC. I should have looked at my pics before I posted because I have pics of these 5300 series at Newton Av, here is 5380 on the 451. This was taken in may or so. Tranzitfan81 Posted July 27, 2011 Share #41 Posted July 27, 2011 Newton Avenue has NABI suburbans from 5366-5383 in service. I was in Camden on Monday, I saw 5374 on the 404 and 5379 on the 451. 5366 is also back in Camden, I have no idea where it has been.. Unfortunately I didn't ride either of them...Instead I was on 5580 for the 407 and got a re-ride on 5587 for the 405. I think Newton Avenue is a half NABI transit Half suburban garage. I would love to see them get more NABIs, the 40 foot Novas are starting to take a beating in Camden. Also MCIs are starting to pop up on Wash Twp NABI routes again, 7512 was spotted at Lindenwold PATCO on the 403 over the weekend and on Monday while I was in Camden, I saw 8855 on Haddon Avenue also doing a 403. mfs NJT459 Posted July 28, 2011 Share #45 Posted July 28, 2011 I have never seen a Newton Ave NABI on the 409 that said "Trenton" or "Trenton via WRTC"... anywhere in Camden or Phila... It's pretty much only MCIs that go to Trenton on 409,

mfs NJT459 Posted July 29, 2011 Share #49 Posted July 29, 2011 There's one 459 driver who not only does the 459 in the mornings, but also does a 402 express trip from Philadelphia in the afternoon. Sometimes he has a NABI which is what people have to deal with when they take the 402 express bus

Sometimes he has a NABI which is what people have to deal with when they take the 402 express bus Well the 402 aint a heavily used route to begin with. Now the 401/406 & 410 those NABIs need to be banned from there because those three routes are sardine cans. But I see why Wash.Twp is putting more D4000s on the 400, because they are putting those NABIs on routes that shouldnt be running on them.
