Bus Operator Exam 2301

Recommended Posts

Looks like that payment cleared on the exam.nyct.com site. Also my previous resume that i had uploaded for a tech position a few months ago seems to have reappeared. Maybe the site was under maintenance?

5 more days..... I heard from someone over at MTA Bus that this list may go by pretty quick since there are alot of b/o's retiring soon. Hope that info is true but in the meantime I'm working on getting my full cdl license. One less test to worry about when I get called. Just one question: is it possible as a new b/o can I start out driving an express bus?

Whatever depot you are sent to or pick you will learn every route including the express routes. You may start out during route training learning the express routes.

Everybody is pending till the 27th of September

Then our status will change

Then we will wait again for our golden list number

Is it still true that the MTAB metrocards don't work on NYCTB and vice verse

Yes MTAB epic pass(id cards) DO NOT work on the subways and NYCT buses and vice verse

Correct.

However, this doesn't limit yourself to riding on either division buses; you'll have to physically show your ID to the operator and they'll log it accordingly into the farebox.

The passes is one of the topic for us to get ( universal passes ) its in the works as we speak, but you can use it on the buses and also the subways, i have not yet have a problem useing my pass on both sides. meaning flashing my pass:tup:

According to http://www.mta.info, list numbers may not be dispersed until January 2012.
