Does anybody have a listing of which buses are out of service or retired from the current section? I might try and update CPTDB for MTA NY buses.
?

I’ve been editing the roster such that every bus that is no longer rostered is noted as such.

How many XE60s and XE40s are at Quill?

Also, I heard that MHV might get some XDE40s. Is this true? If it is, would that mean an M96 SBS?

0011-0015 (five XE40s)

4950-4958, 4962 (ten XE60s)

4959-4961, 4963-4964 (five) to be delivered....

M96 SBS is probably gonna happen.

Read page 30 of https://www1.nyc.gov/html/brt/downloads/pdf/better-buses-action-plan-2019.pdf

They said they were going to do M14 SBS in this and they did.

M14 SBS was announced before that plan.

Any knowledge on MHV XDE40s?

There have been no set assignments on any of the new buses yet, same goes for number series.

Pilots to arrive in May 2020, main delivery to begin in December 2020.

By the looks of it, finally going with WIDE rear doors @Missabassie after 8 years they finally listen to us.

Also, thank God for a streamlined roof!

“This wonderful news is a great way to kick off the New Year for Nova Bus and the hardworking employees in Plattsburgh,” said Senator Betty Little.  “Any time I am in New York City, I always think of the tremendous role our region fulfills for downstate mass transit.  The scale of this new order certainly reflects the confidence that NYCT has in the excellent product that is made here in our backyard by the professional and dedicated men and women working at Nova Bus.  I couldn’t be prouder or happier!”

“The MTA has once again chosen to trust the North Country by awarding NovaBus a contract for up to 500 buses,” said Assemblyman Billy Jones (D-Plattsburgh).

Yet upstate legislators always want to defund the MTA and screw over the City.

More opportunities for fare evasion!

Fare beating happens more often through the front than the back anyways, so that's irrelevant.

I also notice that the bus has those new seats found on XN60 1073. Does anyone notice the rear window on the rendering? I highly doubt the MTA is going back to that window...

Hence why I'm taking other aspects (the rear door) with a grain of salt...

Makes me wonder if it's all the new standard LFS specs and not actual MTA specs, (double LED headlights, silver rims, wide rear door, rear window, the new seats, high visibility window, streamlined roof).

The bus is probably a render they have on their computer for video purposes.
