But you were still underground.. Hot as crazy.. Idk how you can stand being under for more then 1 hour. Was outside then i went inside for a bit.. But only because I bumped into my buddy Vintage Soul, Pablo and a few others BTW... The R42 deadheaded at 7:30PM to Pitkin.. I caught it at 6:15PM at Euclid. 4P3607 Posted August 6, 2011 Share #62 Posted August 6, 2011 Well this is what I caught: -> 6-7 R32 trains -> Track Geometry car (missed it on video b/c I had just re-entered the station since I had to call somebody) -> 10 car R32 train that was just on the -> 2 JY R46 trains (55## and 57## series on the ) -> reroute (which I also missed because my camera failed to start up on time) -> a whole bunch of R46 trains (not that rare). note that both stations were pretty cool, I wasn't sweating at all. I'd love to see the pics. I saw an R46 on the last weekend that had no logo. Unfortunately it was on the other side of the platform at W4. Today I also saw a Not in Service R68 blowing through 59th Street on the opposite side (local track). The front rollsign said Not In Service and all of the others said . ???? Its hot out, I think a smarter idea would be to wait maybe 1 hour max, and if it don't show up, move on to the next spot. If it were fall, or just any day with 60-70 degree weather, I'd agree with ya. 80-100 degree weather is too extreme to be out there for 3 hours waiting for a train!
