Train problem at penn station

I just caught this, even though no longer relevant.

 

NEC #3849, the 2:07pm departure from New York Penn Station is cancelled due to mechanical problem. Passengers may use train #3853

 

Any info on the issue?

Dunno what the problem was nor the equipment but supposedly the train made it to Trenton after a while. Now, NJT should've never cancelled Train #3849. The next train for the next run should've been there already, crews for 3849 could've just taken that out and then crews the following.

I think that's a shift end train. One of the crew shifts ends around that time.
