NJT gives Trenton station new name?

From what I notice, NJT now calls the station for Trenton, "Trenton Transit Center." The new station building has been open for a while now but I never noticed NJT added to the Trenton station name.

From what I notice, NJT now calls the station for Trenton, "Trenton Transit Center." The new station building has been open for a while now but I never noticed NJT added to the Trenton station name.

 

I think it's because you have access to the river line, amtrak, (NJT) rail, septa, and (NJT) bus all at one location. THe name changed happened the same day they opened the new buildings. They are in the process of replacing the concourse over the tracks but the end station buildings are mostly complete. Something is moving into the wallenburg ave building so it seems as well.

It is still generally called Trenton Station they are just trying to amp up the new building.
