Ok so I went to 100st Depot to pick up some parts and a depot sticker for my collection, and as I'm driving up the ramp I see 2 MCI's with BAISLEY PARK stickers coming down and squeezing their way past me...WTF??? I know its not completely far fetched to think that they would stop there to fuel up in an emergency situation, but they were coming down the ramp from maintenance on the second floor...could this possibly mean that 100st is picking up some express routes???

Negative , no express routes for them S.C. And far rock swing up there on the 4th floor

That is SC and BP layover spots and just like we all layup at Quill ,This is the same but I know it's tight in there.

Lets not forget FR and JFK. They have places in 100th Street.

I'm sure some Staten Island MCIs esp. from Yukon also layover there in MJQ. Helps keep some of the express buses on time...

I think all the major S.I depots lay over at Quill along with Ulmer Park & College Point (and I think Eastchester)

Wouldn't be surprised by that at all. Quill is pretty big and is a good location to have buses layover that need to pick up in Midtown. I have seen a few Eastchester MCIs deadheading towards the direction of MJQ and wondered where they were going...

i always thought that they layover downstairs, out of the way. not upstairs where its extremely tight and in the way of maintenance personnel

Yeah I think its at the lower level, Ulmer Park and S.I take over the top floor IIRC. A majority of the time while standing near the ramps, I see CP buses coming from the lower entrance.

We layover in the Basement and don't have to exit near that nightmarish tunnel, We exit out on 12 Ave. THERE Are flagman all over and signals inside so its well coordinated

Don't you also have some layovers at 126 Street Depot as well? IINM, only LaGuardia doesn't lay over in Manhattan.
