Lifesaver: Veteran subway clerk cuts power as train nears death-wisher

This is getting crazy, it seems like everyone is using the subway system to end it all. Good the quick actions of the clerk save the heart ache of the train operater. This suicidal man (if released) will try it again somewhere else.

That was a great job indeed. He did save a lot of heartache upon many by doing what he did, although I'm sure some passengers, not aware of what was going on were furious.

I hope Transit isn't robotic enough to find something wrong with his operating procedure and suspend this hero or even fire him. I've heard of things like this before when someone lets their common sense and good heart take over and gets in trouble for it because the rule book doesn't say "save a man on your own if you have to".
