UlmerPark B6 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 5, 2008 Personally I think R160A because -no stupid Siemens proplousion like R160B -no glitches at HVAC -doesn't break down -and cleaner WHAT ARE YOUR PICKS?
Cait Sith 9,625 Posted June 5, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 5, 2008 Siemens Propulsion is NOT stupid ! And the R160A cars do break down, its happened a few times on the and on the and It shows that the R160B has more variety. I like both sets equally Plus you posted this in the wrong forum, move this thread please
7LineFan 256 Posted June 5, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 5, 2008 You're forgetting that not all R160Bs have Siemens propulsion. Half have Alstom. I personally prefer the Siemens over the Alstom. I haven't taken any 160As to my knowledge so I can't really judge.

What do you mean no glitches at HVAC? Do you mean the FIND display? Or are you talking about the loud fans? 2. All cars break down. ALL of them. 3. Cleanliness doesn't depend on the car

Dude the Siemens Propulsion is okay, the Alstom Propulsion is good too. The best are the R160A's they perform better on the and . I did see one on the too in service, but just one. The R160A's and R160B's are the cleanest cars in the NYC Subway today. Both R160A and R160B had malfunctions before. Don't worry about the propulsion, it doesn't make much of a difference, just the sound. I'm not sure if it makes the subway car faster or slower???? Pablo M 201 35 Posted June 6, 2008 Share #8 Posted June 6, 2008 I'll take an R160B with Siemens propulsion anyday! But the R160A/Bs are good on my book. Yeah they have problems here and there, but they're not the worse cars ever. I know there are going to be a few that will disagree harshly but oh well, they're just cry babies.
