prgordo Posted September 28, 2012 Author Share #239 Posted September 28, 2012 ok so on a more serious note for those keeping score at home 1 year 1 accident ( hit a hydrant) 1 violation ( angled the bus on my check ride) no lateness well kinda had a couple but it was taken of 1 callout but i said I had an emergency so it was later changed to CDO due to DIF took 5 days off but was extended only 3 went to zerega on my Bday month + check ride at depot (Dec) had 2 check rides ( 19 A guy did it ) no undercover rides ( beakies) and most importantly no extension so this concludes the first year of a B/O on probation Thread closed lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

prgordo Posted December 26, 2012 Author Share #242 Posted December 26, 2012 Congrats to Igor Since Igor revived my thread might as well post an update : Since Dec 29 is my Brithday during the Bday month theres a few things you have to take care of you have to go to the MAC Im healthy , your also due for a observation ride got it last week also a couple of computer courses , Done, and finally you have to go to either Zerega or Spring Creek for 19 A which I completed today , it basically consists of watching videos going over your driving abtract a Written Exam and Road Test just felt bad for the probie who got into an accident during is turn to drive hits wooden pole with mirror no damage except scratches on the shell part but they had to call it in anywayz im off till Jan 1, 2013 so hope you guys enjoyed your xmas and enjoy your new years . I totally forgot about this exam and now that the time has come around Im not ready. I am worried about the length of time that CT License has been suspended and the points received as a result. Can I reduce the amount of the driver responsibility assessment if I complete a DMV-approved accident prevention course? Per DMV Driver Responsibility for NY State: You can reduce the total of your driver violation points and your insurance premiums, but completion of the course does not change your driver responsibility assessment. My question is will this course remove or reduce any points on my license? I license been suspended for about 2-3 years because I could not make it to court and did not pay fine> Per DMV Website: The Traffic court or Traffic Violations Bureau (TVB) notifies the DMV. The DMV suspends your driver license until you respond to the ticket pay the fine, or pay the mandatory surcharge. A suspension for the failure to respond to a ticket does not indicate that you are guilty of the charge. The suspension only indicates that you failed to respond to the ticket. If you continue to ignore the ticket after you received a suspension from a TVB for failure to respond to the ticket, you will receive a default conviction. The default conviction is equivalent to a guilty finding. The DMV then suspends your driver license for your failure to pay the fine. Here is my Question: When I pay the fines and all will the points go away as well or not and does TA frown upon this or would they make an exception?
